The hunt for a new gaming chair during Amazon's Prime Day sale has been relentless, and I've been hesitant to act on most of them despite the hefty discounts.
There are several Secretlab and Razer options on the market, and we've explored these previously. They all promise high-level comfort and prioritize customization with adjustable armrest, recline, and backrest height — but there's an alternative I've found that goes beyond the basics.
The AutoFull M6 Ultra 2.0 is now available on Amazon for £483.99 (was £599.99), thanks to a 19% discount. This is a gaming chair that has premium features you won't find on most gaming or office chairs, with dual-zone vibration massaging, highly adjustable armrests, and 2-in-1 ventilation and heating.
With 2-in-1 ventilation, it makes the perfect companion for hot summer days, notably ideal for the ongoing heatwave in the UK, and that's important for long gaming or work sessions.
For US consumers, the AutoFull M6 is available on Amazon for $424.99 (was $499.99), thanks to a 15% discount. This version still comes with the heating and cooling functionality of the Ultra 2.0, but doesn't have the massaging functionality found in its upgraded counterpart.
Regardless, both versions seemingly aim for the best level of comfort, with dynamic lumbar support, including a footrest that should drastically improve periods of resting after gaming or work.
(Image credit: AutoFull)The AutoFull M6 Ultra 2.0 promises fantastic comfort across the board via its high-level features, with 2-in-1 ventilation and heating, auto dynamic lumbar support, highly adjustable armrests, and an additional footrest. It's simply one of the most comfortable chairs you can find on the market this Prime Day. View Deal
Similar to its upgraded counterpart, the AutoFull M6 gaming chair features highly adjustable armrests, a full heating and cooling mechanism, auto dynamic lumbar support, and an additional footrest. This is the right chair to opt for if you're looking for a summer or winter companion, especially during long work or gaming sessions.View Deal

In the US, my top deal is the 65-inch LG C5 for $1,099.99 (was $1,399.99) at Amazon US. This is the cheapest this model been over all of Prime Day, and a record-low price.
I you're looking for small-screen bargain, the 50-inch Amazon Fire TV Omni QLED (2023) is down to a record-low $249.99 (was $469.99) at Amazon US. My other top Us pick is the TCL QM6K 75-inch for $747.99 (was $799.99) at Amazon US. This isn't a record-low price, but if you want a big screen for the World Cup, you can't go wrong with this one.
For the UK, my top pick is the LG B5 48-inch for £579 (was £799) at Amazon UK. It's been cheaper before, but this is still an awesome price.
Next is the TCL 65-inch Q6C for £529 (was £618.99) at Amazon UK, perfect for those who want an affordable, good, larger screen TV. And finally, the 42-inch LG C5 is down to £623 (was £849) at Amazon UK. An excellent smaller screen, this again isn't the cheapest it's been, but it's an incredible price.

- PlayStation boss Hideaki Nishino says "pick up and play" is the most important quality for consoles nowadays
- He says Sony wants to leverage tech "that can be used in various forms and locations"
- The CEO's comments suggest that Sony is looking to rejoin the handheld market
A new PlayStation handheld could be on the table after comments from Sony Interactive Entertainment CEO Hideaki Nishino suggest the company wants to create new hardware similar to the Nintendo Switch 2.
In an interview with Famitsu (translated by IGN), Nishino was asked whether PlayStation plans to continue focusing on consoles, following a past comment he made in 2024 about how hardware won't be disappearing any time soon.
The CEO confirmed it would, saying, "My belief that a console is necessary for playing games hasn’t changed," adding that Sony "wants to continue providing its own game consoles."
But what sort of consoles? Nishino went on to mention that "pick up and play" is the most important quality for consoles nowadays, which instantly makes one think of the Switch 2 or PlayStation Portal.
Nishino continued, saying that developing new consoles will mean Sony will be "leveraging technologies that can be used in various forms and locations" and that this would enable Sony "to create something exciting."
"For example, although the PlayStation brand is strongly associated with playing on the TV in the living room, we’re planning to release monitors and speakers so that people can play comfortably in other locations as well," Nishino said. "We developed the PlayStation Portal as part of this initiative."
The PlayStation Portal is a remote player, allowing PS5 users to play their PS5 games via their handheld device, a challenge Sony took on to create a new kind of gameplay experience, according to Nishino.
"We were thinking, 'Let’s try this, let’s try that,' and I’d like us to move forward with developing products while exploring various ideas in this way," he said.
While the PlayStation Portal is a handheld console, its purpose is built for streaming and cloud gaming, unlike the PSP and the PS Vita.
While the PSP took off and became Sony's biggest handheld ever, selling 70 million units, the PS Vita didn't fare too well, shifting an estimated 15 to 16 million units before it was discontinued in 2019.
If Sony plans to rejoin the handheld market, it will have tough competition if it goes against the Switch 2, which has officially sold almost 6 million units within its first year of release.
A PS6 handheld has been rumored for some time. According to a reliable insider and leaker, Moore's Law is Dead, Sony will launch its next-generation PlayStation with three devices in 2027, including two consoles and a companion handheld.
This week's big news in the world of tech deals is Amazon Prime Day. The retailer's summer mega-sale has really dominated the headlines, but it's not the only game in town. For one, the official Samsung Store is currently offering exceptional deals on its own brand devices thanks to its own 'summer sale' happening right now.
On such deal is a record-low price on the excellent Galaxy S26 Ultra, which is our favorite Android device currently. Usually, this flagship would set you back an exorbitant amount, but right now you can either get $350 off upfront or up to $720 off with a trade-in.
Of the two, the upfront discount is the real headline feature here as it lets you take home the standard configuration for $949 (was $1,099). Ok, that's still extremely expensive, but there are no additional hoops to jump through to get your hands on the device at its lowest-ever upfront price. With this unlocked device, you'll be able to port it over to whatever carrier you wish without any annoying criteria, too.
Note that Amazon Prime Day is set to end at midnight tonight (June 26th) but it's difficult to say whether this deal will disappear exactly. Nonetheless, if you are interested, I would probably recommend jumping on it sooner rather than later as it could vanish as the various 'summer sales' wind down.
Today's record-low Galaxy S26 Ultra deal at SamsungSamsung Galaxy S26 Ultra: $350 off upfront, or up to $720 off with a trade-in at Samsung
The outstanding Galaxy S26 Ultra has just been listed for its lowest price yet at the official Samsung Store this week, with an excellent $350 discount on unlocked devices. Available across all storage variants and colors, this deal can get you a device for as little as $949 upfront. Trade-in rebates of up to $720 are also available, but we've seen slightly better offerings in the past for trades.
Galaxy S26: $200 off upfront, or up to $400 off w/ trade
Galaxy S26+: $300 off upfront, or up to $450 off w/ tradeView Deal
In our Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra review, we described it as Samsung's best Galaxy S phone to date, despite it being a fairly modest upgrade over its predecessor.
Rather than reinventing the formula, Samsung has refined it, improving the design, boosting performance, and expanding its AI features without increasing the price. Standout additions include the new Privacy display and Super Steady video mode, both of which are innovative features exclusive to the Galaxy S26 Ultra.
Even so, the phone's biggest strengths remain its stunning display, superb cameras, and the versatility of its built-in S Pen. While pricey, at $950 we'd definitely say that the Ultra is worth considering if you want a high-end Android flagship.
More of today's best sales at Samsung- Polymarket prediction platform was hacked via a compromised third‑party vendor dependency, injecting malicious scripts into its frontend
- Around $3M in crypto stolen from ~11 users, according to PeckShield; Polymarket is refunding victims in full while removing the affected dependency
- Community reactions on X were critical, with some blaming prior “taunting hackers”; one victim speculated the breach may have involved Xorek Cloud’s VPS
Polymarket, a prediction platform where people trade on the likelihood of different real-world events, got hacked and allegedly lost around $3 million in user funds. The company is now refunding the victims in full.
In a short post published on X earlier this week, Polymarket confirmed the news, saying it discovered that a third-party vendor had been compromised. Through that compromise, the attackers injected a malicious script “into our frontend for some users.”
Since then, Polymarket said it contained the incident and removed the affected dependency but did not say which dependency it was. It did not say which third-party vendor was compromised. Furthermore, it said it is currently contacting impacted users and refunding them in full, but did not state how many people were affected, or how much money is involved.
Context-dependent vulnerabilitiesThis morning we discovered a 3rd party vendor had been compromised, injecting a malicious script into our frontend for some users. We've contained it & removed the affected dependency. We're contacting impacted users & refunding them in full.June 25, 2026
In its write-up, TechCrunch cited blockchain monitoring firm PeckShield, which claims that around $3 million in cryptocurrency was stolen in the attack. The publication also reported that around 11 people were affected. Polymarket allows its users to be paid in crypto.
X users who left comments on Polymarket’s announcement seem utterly unsurprised by the breach. “I spent weeks telling you this and you ignored it,” one person said. “The next time l find a vulnerability, l will sell it to criminal gangs.” Three users suggested Polymarket deserved what had happened for “taunting hackers” in the past. One made a sly joke saying, “how did you not predict this?”
Polymarket did not say which third-party vendor was compromised, but one of the users who lost funds in this attack speculates it happened through Xorek Cloud’s VPS:
“I recently bought a VPS from Xorek Cloud and stored my private key on it,” they said on X. “I'm not sure how the compromise happened, but that's the only possible security risk I can think of.”

Not only do I review gaming gear for a living, I game every day, which is how I know how important a truly reliable gamepad can be. Fortunately, while we're on the final day of Prime Day, I'm still seeing loads of offers out there on some of my favorite Xbox controllers. That's why I've brought you together the best I've found.

For a long time, when gaming on my PC and Xbox Series X, I just stuck with the Robot White Xbox Wireless Controller that came with my console. And who could blame me? It's a seriously well-designed controller, from its multi-platform connectivity to its Impulse Triggers. But there's a whole rainbow of different colorways out there: given they're so cheap, why not opt for the badass bubblegum vibes of Deep Pink or the exhilarating Electric Volt?
And although it may have taken me a while, I have since upgraded to a pro-grade pad: the fantastic Asus ROG Raikiri II Xbox Wireless, one of the many premium controllers you can get an enormous discount on this Prime Day. Can't quite stretch to a high-end controller? Fortunately, plenty of cheaper options like the PowerA Wired Controller are still going for a song, so there's never been a better time to get your hands on a new one.

And it still packs an impressive 10-day battery life, advanced training features, an LED flashlight, and full-color maps.View Deal

- NAIC confirmed a cyberattack exploiting an Oracle PeopleSoft zero‑day, with ShinyHunters claiming theft of 3.1TB of data
- Stolen cache allegedly includes insurer filings, credit rating files, AWS logs, configs, and PII; NAIC says only financial reports and technical data were taken
- Incident spotted June 11, disclosed June 17; files leaked online suggest NAIC did not pay ransom, as ShinyHunters continues exploiting the zero‑day across 100+ organizations
The National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC) confirmed suffering a cyberattack that resulted in the stolen data being leaked on the dark web. While the company did not name the group responsible, or mentioned the size of the stolen cache, the infamous ShinyHunters claimed responsibility and stated they snatched around 3.1TB of information.
In a security notice published on the NAIC website, it was explained that the attackers managed to exploit a zero-day vulnerability in Oracle PeopleSoft. This is an enterprise resource planning (ERP) software suite, designed to help businesses manage employees, finances, supply chains, and more. Citing Google Mandiant, Cybernews says ShinyHunters first started exploiting the zero-day on May 27, and managed to compromise more than 100 organizations and 300 individuals, before Oracle finally pushed an emergency update on June 10.
Among the victims, as we now know, is NAIC, whose PeopleSoft environment was compromised, and used to obtain credentials and move laterally to internal data storage locations.
ShinyHunters step forwardBased on NAIC’s investigation, the stolen information includes publicly available statutory financial reports, insurer investment credit rating data, and some technical information such as outdated logs and configuration files. There is no evidence that personal information, banking information, or payment data was accessed, it said.
NAIC spotted the attack on June 11 and immediately launched its incident response protocol, which includes notifying law enforcement, blocking malicious actors, and bringing in third-party security experts. The Commission disclosed the incident on June 17, a day before ShinyHunters went public.
The notorious ransomware gang claims to have taken more than 264,000 insurer regulatory filing documents, 2,000 customer and bulk orders containing personally identifiable information, some 45,000 files from major credit rating agencies, statutory annual and quarterly financial statements submitted by insurers, production AWS infrastructure logs, cloud configuration files, and workload automation data, and SQL scripts.
Since the files were seemingly leaked online, it’s safe to assume that NAIC did not (want to) pay the ransom demand.

You can find all manner of deals during Amazon Prime Day, but you can always count on the eponymous retail giant to knock a decent amount off its own range of smart home devices — its Echo Dot speakers being one of them.
My humble little Echo Pop is still working and for the most part, its performance and features are satisfactory, but I feel a change is coming, and that change might just be the Echo Dot 5th Gen — one of the best smart speakers you can get.

Some Prime Day discounts can be restricted to the US and UK respectively, but that's not the case for the Echo Dot. Amazon US has knocked $20 off taking the smart speaker to a reasonable $29.99 (was $49.99), and Amazon UK has a similar offer, with the speaker going for £28.49 (was £54.99).
Today's best Echo Dot (5th Gen) dealsThe Amazon Echo Dot is down to less than $30 for Prime Day. Amazon's best-selling smart speaker offers improved audio, a new temperature sensor, and all the handy Alexa features just a voice command away, such as playing music, answering questions, and checking the weather. A steal at this price.View Deal
Amazon's best-selling Echo Dot is down to under £30 for Prime Day – a good offer, but it did reach a previous record-low of £22.99. Nevertheless, the Echo Dot offers an improved audio experience, plus a new temperature sensor and all the handy features from Alexa, like playing music, answering questions, and checking the weather completely hands-free. As far as a cheap and cheerful smart speaker goes, it's one of the better options out there.View Deal
The bog-standard Echo Pop has been my loyal smart home companion for a few years and while it's done me good, I fear that it's served its time. If you're in the same boat as me, the Echo Dot 5th Gen could be the answer.
The main upgrades with this Echo Dot is the room temperature sensor, which is a great for customizing your Alexa routines — you can get the smart speaker to run certain functions when your room reaches a particular temperature. For example, if it gets too hot and you need some shield from the sun, you could set it to control your smart blinds to correspond with the heat changes.
Although it's a significant upgrade from other basic smart speakers, the Echo Dot is still a simple and easy-to-use model which is perfect if you don't enjoy spending loads of time getting used to a new piece of tech in your home.
On the sound-front, it packs a bass that's boosted compared to its predecessor, but we did mention in our review that it's a smart speaker first, and audio system second. That said, this shouldn't be much of an issue if you're using it to fill the silence in a small space where you won't have the volume as loud as a standard Bluetooth speaker.
All-in-all, the Echo Dot 5th Gen is a solid upgrade if you've been using any of Amazon's older models until now. It also a great smart hub for connecting other devices in your smart home ecosystem, and now that the new Alexa+ voice assistant is in early access, it means you don't have to upgrade to Amazon's latest Echo Dot Max or Echo Studio to make the most of its smarts.

Great news, 4K Blu-ray fans and physical media collectors — the huge Criterion Collection half-price sale is back again. This is the month-long sale, which will run until late July — but given how many tempting buys Criterion has, you're going to need that whole month to make your list and then whittle it down.

As usual for Criterion, Barnes & Noble is the main host of the sale, but Amazon has discs at half price too. The sale at Amazon is a lot more limited than at Barnes & Noble — several titles are half price, but some are most like 35% off when they're fully 50% off at B&N. And Amazon's range is more limited than B&N's. But I've included Amazon since many people are already buying things there for Amazon Prime Day (while it lasts — it ends tonight), so I thought maybe you just want to slip that disc you've been eyeing up into your basket…

Want to score some last-minute savings before Amazon Prime Day 2026 draws to a close? I’ve found 12 board games for under $20 that you can shop right now — though the deals won’t last much longer.
What’s more, these aren’t cheap but ultimately terrible games; these are some really solid picks with options to suit any occasion — with my personal favorites being Herd Mentality, Monopoly Big Deal, and Cheers to the Governor.

There are party picks like Throw Throw Burrito and The Cameleon, which are ideal for larger groups of all ages; meanwhile, Twisted Cryptids and Exploding Kittens require a little more strategy if you want to secure victory.
Plus, several picks on this list come in small boxes, making them ideal travel games to take with you on your summer vacation — and all of them make excellent ice breakers if you’re heading off to college when the summer’s over.
Best of all, as I said in the intro, none of them will set you back more than $20, though that promise is only true while Prime Day deals are still live.

If you've been thinking about upgrading your TV, then today might be a good time to do so. The official Samsung Store is hosting a massive summer sale this week, and it features some of the first real price cuts on the brand's 2026 lineup of TVs.
Highlights include the new 65-inch RH85H Micro RGB for $2,299 (was $2,799), the excellent value 75-inch QN80H Neo-QLED for $1,599 (was $2699), and the 65-inch S95H OLED for $2,999 (was $3,399). That latter pick is a particular highlight for us because it's the update to one of our favorite TVs of 2025.
- Check out Samsung's summer sale in full
If the newest, shiniest Samsung TVs are a little too pricey for your tastes, then we'd highly recommend a few of today's listings on older displays, too. Just below you can see a selection of both 2026 and slightly older models. Take note, however, the older stock is shifting quickly today, and it looks like these are clearance deals, more or less.
It's also worth saying that it's hard to say how much longer the Samsung summer sale will last. This week's deals are similar to those offered over at Amazon's massive Prime Day sale, but that's due to end tonight at Midnight. Fingers crossed these Samsung TV deals stick around for a few days longer!
2026 Samsung TVs on saleSamsung's rival Prime Day sale has a rare $300 discount on Samsung's all-new 65-inch R85H Micro RGB 4K Smart TV. Perfect for watching the World Cup on, Samsung's R85H Series delivers brilliant colors that come to life thanks to its Micro RGB technology and AI engine.View Deal
The S95H is the successor to the wildly popular S95F, which was one of our top-rated TVs of 2025. We haven't reviewed this iteration yet, but we have no hesitation recommending one of the first price cuts we've seen on the model. The main upgrades here are a QD-OLED panel, updated AI processing, and a new picture-frame design with a built-in bezel. Otherwise, you're still getting a stunning picture and support for a 165Hz refresh rate.View Deal
The new QH series from Samsung are a good choice if you want a decent TV but don't want to completely break the bank. The QN80H is the higher-end model and features AI-based picture and audio optimization, and SDR to HDR upscaling. QN80H also features Motion Xcelerator 144Hz support, which makes it a good choice for sports or gaming. You don't get as deep blacks with a Neo-QLED, but the picture quality is still absolutely fantastic.View Deal
The Frame series is a real crowd favorite, and it's certainly a very unique idea. Specs-wise, you don't tend to get the best of the best with these TVs, but they do offer a gorgeous art-like design that melds into any environment. The latest 2026 Pro model features a matte anti-reflective coating and a Neo-QLED panel with support for 144Hz refresh rates. View Deal
Older Samsung TVs on saleThe 65-inch S90F is a slightly older model now, but it still holds up great, with the same comprehensive set of gaming features as the higher-end Samsung S95F OLED. The 65-inch S90F was already a great value, but today's massive $1,300 price cut at Samsung just makes it one of the best buys on the entire site this week. This price is $200 lower than Black Friday, for example. View Deal
Samsung's flagship OLED TV for 2025 improves upon its predecessor with even higher brightness and a 2.0 version of its Glare-Free OLED screen. Gaming support has expanded with 4K 165Hz support across all four HDMI 2.1 ports, and the TV's Tizen smart interface now features the Samsung Art Store portal. All sizes apart from the 55-inch are sold out right now, annoyingly, so grab this still-amazing TV while you still can. View Deal
The QN90F is a slightly older model now, but it's still an amazing choice if you're looking for a great quality display with fantastic brightness. Samsung is offering a record-low price on the larger 75-inch model right now (the smaller sizes are already sold out). This Neo QLED TV features mini LEDs and Samsung's Glare-Free 2.0 technology, allowing you to view it from nearly any angle. Paired with high brightness and punchy colors, this makes it a great pick for sports.View Deal
Huge Samsung sale — quick links- Lenovo has said that RAM prices will likely "never" fall back to pre-crisis levels
- The company also predicted a "new normal" for memory pricing from 2030 onwards
- Microsoft expects the cost of memory to double in just over a year
If you were hoping we might get to the weekend without any more bad news on the RAM front, that hope is about to be crushed courtesy of Lenovo and Microsoft — and there's a side serving of blame for Apple, too.
First off, as German tech site ComputerBase reports (via Wccftech), over at ISC 2026 — the high-performance computing, AI, and quantum conference in Germany — Lenovo said that RAM prices will likely "never" fall back to the pre-crisis levels of a year ago, even after the bolstering of chip production output that's coming (from 2028 onwards).
Lenovo seemingly said "never," accompanied by some on-stage laughter, according to ComputerBase, and the tech site (bearing in mind translation nuances) clarifies that this is really referring to the next five years (or maybe a bit more) for the RAM industry, and not an 'absolute' future.
However, the report then goes on to mention that Lenovo sees a "new normal" from 2030 onwards with significantly higher prices than pre-crisis levels — even given increased production.
On top of that, Microsoft just announced hefty price increases for Xbox consoles driven by the RAM crisis. The firm stated, "Unfortunately, console storage and memory prices have increased by more than 2.5x, and we expect another doubling by the fall of 2027."
Ouch. Microsoft underlined that the memory price hikes are especially painful for console makers, as these devices are typically sold at a (slight) loss, as the revenue is made up in game sales (and subscriptions).
Lastly, Wccftech also spotted that Micron has fired some flak at Apple, although the memory chip maker didn't name Tim Cook's firm specifically, but it's clear enough where the shot was aimed. As Rolfe Winkler, who reports for the Wall Street Journal, explains in a post on X: "Tim Cook says the memory guys are at fault for Apple raising prices. A Micron executive I interviewed last night pointed the finger right back."
Sumit Sadana, who is Chief Business Officer at Micron, informed Winkler, "We told a couple of the customers who were being very aggressive with pricing at that time that this is not constructive." The argument here might be that partners (presumably Apple) pressing Micron on the price of their RAM hurt Micron's bottom line and ability to invest in more production capacity.
Analysis: double, double toil and trouble(Image credit: fizkes / Shutterstock)Although it's difficult to weigh up the exact meaning of Lenovo's comments on the RAM crisis at ISC, it's clear enough that the PC giant believes the future looks very rocky. At best, pricing looks like it's in trouble until the early 2030s, and there's likely to be a 'new normal' coming into play here for that next decade.
While there appears to be some joking around prices "never" coming back down to the levels they were before the crisis, I think there's a fair chance that they actually won't. When the cost of a product goes up to such an extent as we've seen with RAM (and storage), it's feasible that it won't ever quite normalize. Okay, so maybe we'll see some curveballs that throw things out of whack — like the AI bubble bursting, or at least deflating a good deal — but I'm increasingly doubtful about the prospect of any relief.
Microsoft predicting a further doubling of memory pricing in not much more than a year is a painful prediction to hear, too.
I'm not going to dive full-tilt into the gloom here, though, because as I've said before, at least in the consumer space, RAM prices can only go so high before a ceiling is hit, which means most people will simply refuse to pay the asking prices. And thankfully, there have also been a couple of glimmers of hope this week: Asus predicted that its products won't be hiked by as much in the second half of 2026 (but they'll still go up), and there was a rumor aired that memory chip giant SK Hynix may switch production away from AI-targeted RAM (HBM) to conventional RAM sticks, at least to an extent.
I wouldn't get swept away with any optimism just yet, though, because for now, as these latest developments in the memory crisis underline, the pervading sentiment around the future remains largely negative.
